Hello Ergo Lady!
I just placed an order from your store, and I wanted to let you know that I found your sites so very helpful.  I have a 26 lb 23 month old and we are heading to Europe in March for 5 weeks.  (We also have 2 other kids 7 and 4).  I tried a friend's Ergo- I was going to borrow it- but I liked it so much we decided to get our own.  Thank you for all the time you've poured into this website, it really helped me make a decision.

I just received the Ergo baby carrier and it is amazing.  I tried it with my 3 year old first, which was a huge mistake because now all she wants to do is be carried around in it. My one year old is a little weary of it but she's crabby about most things which is really why I wanted a back pack for her...if she doesn't get over it at least I know I can carry the 3 year old!

I am so impressed with how well it holds up the weight of the kids!  I could move around and do everything in the house, even with a three year old on my back.  I even went up the steps without a problem!

I walked all over the Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios this weekend with my 3 ∏ year old and 16 month old on my back at various times (obviously not together but they took turns) and I could not believe how comfortable the Ergo was to carry the boys. I gave away the few business cards I had for you. Would you please send me some more? People were amazed when I told them I was actually comfortable carrying around 33 pounds on my back. They wanted to know what the carrier was so I gave away your cards. Please send me more.

I also got a girlfriend who has lower back pains to finally try mine and she loved it too.  She just can't afford to buy one but she couldn't believe how comfortable it was and she was a Baby Bjorn user too. I walked 6 miles and always had someone on my back.  After 1 1/2 days of
walking and using the Ergo, I NEVER had back pain or soreness.  I really am surprised, amazed and happy I made the investment.

I bought an ergo a few months ago. I just wanted to let you know how delighted I was yesterday because I used my ergo for 5 hours at the mall. We went to Sawgrass and I used it the whole time. It was awesome! A lady even came up to me and asked where I got it and I told her about you. Thanks a bunch!

I am so jazzed about my new Ergo! I admit I couldn't figure the foolish thing out at first but after a few minutes on the phone with Ellen, it all made more sense. I am so glad I got the camel because my husband loves it too!

I wanted to let you know that I got my Ergo yesterday and was able to use it today for about 5 hours straight! We used the front carry position and it was very easy to get baby in and out of. Not to mention, Totally Comfy! No strain on lower back, in fact, I thought that with the waist belt sitting lower (rather than above) my hips really made a difference.

I'll never go back to slings now. I wish I had had this with the other 3 kids. They were all slinged and I loved wearing my babies, but my back and shoulder wasn't going to take another one.

Thank you for the quick service and for answering my questions. Also hubby commented that the camel color was something he would even *wear*...:WINK WINK:

Okay, after 3 days of heavy baby-wearing, my back feels much better and I LOVE my ergo! I pushed the waist strap down over my hips and that helped a lot. I figured out how to do the back carry by myself...she laughs hysterically when I bounce her into position. Anyway, thanks for all your help. I'm definitely recommending the Ergo and TheErgoLady to others!! :-)"

Ergo Lady,Thank you. I just bought an ergo and I LOVE it. Max also loves it and doesn't mind the limited view in the ergo as he did in the bjorn.

I just got the Ergo and LOVE it! (thank you Ellen) My son is only 4 months and 17lbs, but it is so comfortable, I honestly don't even feel like I am carrying him (and I have only done the front carry with him). Once you figure out how the adjustments work, it's really easy to get on and get the baby into it.
 
I am looking forward to several years of using the carrier - I only wish I had found it earlier:) Plus, my husband happily wears it, after only using our other carriers under duress - LOL!

I was very interested in switching from the pouch to a carrier better suited to a toddler. Searching the web brought me more confusion as I wasn't sure what most of
the products really looked like, felt like or how they even worked. After several email conversations, Ellen recommended that I try the Ergo. Her detailed email descriptions were right on and the Ergo did everything she said it would. I still wanted to see
what else was out there so I attended one of her baby wearing classes. I tried out four different baby carriers. I loved them all but Ellen was right when she said the Ergo would suit my needs best After a quick IN PERSON lesson I was good to go.
My Ergo ended up having a minor manufacturing defect and upon informing
Ellen of this she insisted she replace my used one with a brand new one right away!
The most friendly and informative customer service I have ever experienced.

I'm really loving my Ergo -- it's easy to put on, easy to adjust (DH actually uses it!) and ds seems to like it just fine. I have only tried a MT Hip, though, (and wasn't crazy about it).

I haven't asked anyone for help, but I have not had any luck nursing in it -- I think ds is just too tall.

I do like that i can put my wallet essentials into the little zipper, and then not have to carry anything on walks =)

I just wanted to let you know I just love my Ergo baby carrier. It is so comfortable to carry my heavy six month old on my hip and back. She loves it and it's so easy to use. I wore her in it on a trip last weekend. It was simple to get her in and out of at airport security and on the plane.
 
I also have a Bjorn which was great when she was smaller. The Ergo is useful at all stages. I wish I had found the Ergo to begin with, because I could have saved myself a lot of cash!

I visited your website after reading the article in Mothering. I've been using (and loving) my Ergo for about 6 months and didn't necessarily think I had anything new to learn about it. However, I LOVE the "side saddle" position idea I discovered on your site--I never even entertained the notion of putting my baby in sideways (he is 10 months now) and it works so well and is so comfortable. AND, I discovered shortly after trying it that it is a great way to nurse in the Ergo. It is much more comfortable for me to nurse him in it sideways than it is for me to lower him down to nurse in the front carry. It cradles him like a sling to nurse, but with the both-shoulders-and-waist support that I love about the Ergo. Yay!
