Official Provider of Ergo Baby Carrier Seal of Approval

I was very interested in switching from the pouch to a carrier better suited to a toddler. Searching the web brought me more confusion as I wasn't sure what most of
the products really looked like, felt like or how they even worked. After several email conversations, Ellen recommended that I try the Ergo. Her detailed email descriptions were right on and the Ergo did everything she said it would. I still wanted to see what else was out there so I attended one of her baby wearing classes. I tried out four different baby carriers. I loved them all but Ellen was right when she said the Ergo would suit my needs best After a quick IN PERSON lesson I was good to go.
My Ergo ended up having a minor manufacturing defect and upon informing Ellen of this she insisted she replace my used one with a brand new one right away!
The most friendly and informative customer service I have ever experienced.

Reborn Doll

Huh? Why would I want to use have a doll at a babywearing meeting? I must admit I did resist the idea for quite some time but as a professional babywearing educator, it does make a lot of sense to have a special newborn sized weighted doll. First of all, my toddler is now way too busy playing to be my model (although she gets super jealous of the doll so sometimes I do get to demonstrate with her). And also, she is much bigger than a newborn so it often makes more sense to people to show them with a little baby. Many babies will not let someone else hold them so I can't use a real baby. And if the real baby is sleeping or if mom is not yet confident, it's great to practice with the doll. Also, the jealousy trick works for most toddlers; if they see mama playing around with the doll, they want UP!
